Brian K. Matelic "BK"- CFO/CEO/Founder

Brian K. Matelic born June 27,1974 in Dearborn, MI has fast become one of the biggest Real Estate guys in the country.  Brian also known as "BK" has years of experience where he has generated Millions of Dollars in sales and is known as one of the fierce's agents in the business.  Always looking for more BK started Detroit's Own in the summer of 2006 with a passion to build greatness.  When it comes to building a company there are not many that can match the pace that Mr.Matelic works....With a vision and the strength of a Lion, Detroit's Own will be around for a long time to come.  One of BK's favorite quotes is "Anything that doesnt Kill you, will only make you stronger"  and that my friends is Mr. Matelic's MO in life....Stay true to yourself and dont let anyone tell you different. 

Alan Kirchoff - "AK" - Vice President of Operations

Alan was born January 21, 1974 in Wyandotte Michigan.  At a young age Alan earned a reputation on the streets as "AK" for being a fierce individual with the desire to be great.  AK proudly served our country with the United States Marine Corp from 1993-1997 ending his career with an E4 Rank. With the heart of a Lion and the street smarts of a legend AK is a prime example of what Detroit's Own represents.  Detroit's Own is made up of REAL people that all have the same vision of success. Alan's favorite quote is from Plato " We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life; is when men are afraid of the light".  DOnt be afraid to be yourself and everything else in life will come together. 

Eric M. Sear - Vice President of Detroit's Own Sports

Eric was born March 5, 1974 in Southfield Michigan.  At the young of age of 20 Eric decided to serve his county in the United States Marine Corp from 1995-1997.  Eric served his time as a drill instructor in San Diego, CA at the Marine Corp recruit depot.  Eric ended his days as a Marine with an E4 rank.  After proudly serving the country, Eric faced new challenges in the work world, and finally landed in a large corp as a Senior Manager.  Eric spends a lot of his time donating time in several orginazations like: Turning Point (a Michigan Shelter for battered woman), A Salvation Army Bell Ringer every year at Christmas, and spends a lot of time at local soup kitchens serving the needy.  As you can see Eric is an example of what Detroit's Own represents every day!  Eric's favorite quote is "Pain is Temporary, PRIDE is Forever" Semper FI.
